There are many popular methods, such as classified ads, Instant Buzz, Craig's List and Squidoo to name but a few... However, building a business and making money long term is made much easier when you master targeted techniques (such as article writing, forum posting and Pay Per Click) that have both instant and long term benefits. I'm not saying the other methods don't work. Some of them do... However, I firmly believe that these three methods are the most effective for the following reasons: 1. Article writing and forum posting, will create multiple backlinks from other sites which will.. (a) bring you traffic for as long as the internet exists. (b) improve your search engine rankings, which as a result will bring you even more traffic. I'll save Pay Per Click for another day so let's talk a bit about Article Marketing. The three main benefits of Article Writing are that you can: 1. Brand yourself as an expert in your field 2. Get free advertising through your resource box 3. Boost your sales and profits In fact, when you write a good article it gives you a certain amount of credibility and when someone reads your ontent and visits your site, they are far more likely to take action when they get there. I've talked to alot of people over the years who can't bear the thought of sitting down and putting pen to paper (or finger to key!) but it's actually far easier than it first appears mainly because of the plethora of information that is already online. Basically your job is an article re-writer.
