Keychain Cameras Look Natural Everywhere
These days there are so many different places that you can hide a camera, should you wish to record the actions of someone else. Developers are only limited by imagination and you surely would not believe the locations that they have come up with. While you certainly have many choices available, remember that legislation and strict regulations often cover this area and you should check before you try and record somebody without their knowledge.
If you are planning some hidden surveillance you obviously want to be sure that the targeted party is not aware that this is taking place. For best effect, you should conceal the camera within an everyday item that would not arouse suspicion at any time. Make sure that the item you are going to use is one that would ordinarily appear within your chosen room.
Keychain cameras look exactly like a conventional remote key fob, but have a camera complete with audio and video within. As such, they make a great surveillance tool as a set of car keys does not arouse suspicion. If you think about it, we all leave our keys in random places, such as a desktop, on shelves or on a table, etc.
If you have a situation that you want to record in a particular room, just leave a set of keys attached to a keychain camera in an ideal place within the room. You will then be able to record everything that happens, so long as you point the lens in the correct direction. Up to 8 GB of audiovisual files can be recorded within the unit without arousing any suspicion at all.
Keychain cameras come complete with a built in mini DVR and can record for up to three hours before the included memory is full. This is a flash memory, which means that you will have to connect the item to your PC to store the output. Once you're connected by attaching the USB cord you can view the recorded material through any software that supports AVI files.
The beauty of keychain cameras is that they do not need any external drivers or outside power source, as is common with standalone surveillance cameras of this style. There is no limit to the number of situations suitable for this item, which can be left within any environment to record results for you.
Remember that when you choose a keychain camera you are not looking for the highest quality and resolution and perfect output standard. The camera will record at 29 frames per second and the video resolution is 640x480. Note that you are using this for a specific purpose and if you are looking for perfect quality you should probably select a regular style camera for your needs.
Choose wisely when you are selecting a hidden camera contained within an everyday item. There is a great deal of choice and you should be able to find something for every conceivable environment. Don't be tempted to choose an illuminated "exit" sign hidden camera if you are going to use it within your home, as these are only seen in public places and would be sure to arouse suspicion!
